6B Opens New Office in Portugal

6B is excited to announce that due to recent expansion we have now opened an office in the city of Setúbal, Portugal.

This is a major step in the 6 year history of 6B…

The company has grown over the years to a team of 28 and recently have being named one of the Top 50 Fastest Growing Technology Companies in the North at the Northern Tech awards.

Planning for the office has been in the works for the past year, with 6B’s Swiss-Portuguese Team Leader Fabrice Domingues assisting Managing Director Paul Brown in finding the perfect location for 6B’s new venture.

“Portugal is an up and coming country in digital.” Says Paul. “Setúbal is the perfect location for 6B’s new office, Fabrice has grew up here and he knows the city well and it is close to Lisbon which is fast becoming a creative and tech startup hub”.

Fabrice, who has taken the helm as Managing Director of 6B Portugal, has now moved back to his home in Setúbal to take charge of the new office.

The city of Setúbal resides at the mouth of the river Sado, along the coast just below Lisbon and is famed for its fishing industry, beautiful bays and renowned moscatel wine.

In 2018, Lisbon became the home of the annual Web Summit conference, which, along with government funding, helped boost new tech start up businesses – good news for 6B, who is hoping to make a mark in the creative, tech and digital industries.

“This first month has been positive and we are now starting to work on new business relationships, both locally and in the Lisbon area” continues Paul. “2019 has been a fantastic year for 6B, and opening the new office has been the icing on the cake. We hope to keep moving forward and achieving our goals in 2020”.
